About Me:
I truly believe that everyone has the potential to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life, we just have barriers and adversities that deter us at times. I believe in collaborating with my clients in a safe and inviting atmosphere. It takes courage to ask for help, and I want to assist in helping you recognize your worth and potential. It is a privilege and honor to work with you, and I look forward to it!
As a clinical practitioner for over 10 years, I am experienced in working with a variety of clients and their specific needs. These concerns range from depression, anxiety, adjustment, unhealthy habits, lifestyle changes, divorce, grief and loss, and trauma. I am highly specialized in working with trauma victims and trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD. I am also invested in working within the LGBTQ community (former LGBT Care Coordinator at VA Hospital) and include proud LGBTQ+ Ally in my repertoire.
I am a born and bred Oklahoman (Oklahoma State University grad 3x over) with a passion for improving mental health in this state that I love so much. I have moved literally around the world (Japan) and back because I love Oklahoma and our people, and I wanted to raise my family here. I am also a health junkie with a love for indoor cycling; I became an instructor over 3 years ago! I teach indoor cycling at Cyclebar ClassenCurve in Oklahoma City and have managed to blend my love for fitness with my passion for emotional and mental health. I believe that you can change your life anytime, at any age, with any circumstance. Together we can achieve your goals!
